The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand:
The angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.
George Eliot.

Ah girls. Exams over for now. Time to kick back and take no notice. But can I say it anyway?
That the best is yet to come? That there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and you are that light for someone else?

Believe in yourselves, and each other.

Know that you can make a difference, to yourselves, to each other, to the world, through your thoughtfulness, zaniness, your wholeheartedness, your love-liness.

Remember, that we exist for each other, first of all, and know that our own happiness depends on that fact alone.

Remember that imagination is more powerful than knowledge. (But knowledge gets you through exams;)

Don’t think too much about your future. It will be here soon enough.

What is it that makes you come alive, sing, dance? Find out, and go and do it. The world needs singers and dancers!

You can’t do better than being you. You are complex, confused and colourful contradictions, and that’s OK. That’s what makes you real, and interesting.

People are often unreasonable, unfriendly and self centred. Be kind and forgive them anyway. It is, of course, the right thing to do.
( Plus it’ll annoy the heck out of them;)

Don’t wait! The miracle is in the here and now!

But I know you know all this already, for you remind me of it in your own way, every day. Enjoy your summer, girls.

What wonderful pictures. My favourites are the ones taken under the bridge, because I love the way the curved top of the bridge frames the shot. xx
