…although these two peas certainly seem to be from the same pod- same sense of humour (think Mighty Boosh); same commitment to the fabulously British Jack Wills, same passion for popular culture (inappropriate in-jokes and use of hair dye); midnight feasts of Pringles and toast. Oh, and they are great company- I have shared the last few days with Sophie and Imogen in Devon and it’s been a real pleasure. I am trying out my new ‘outdoor studio’ and happily they agreed to model, though of course on their own terms. Fine by me!

Lovely shots – I rally like the B&W conversions. Yes, got to love the ‘outdoor studio’. I’m using it more and more these days.
I haven’t a clue which one is my favourite . . . as each new photo scrolled up I thought “this is it” BUT then another amazing shot followed and I changed my mind!
You have truly captured the wonderful friendship that the girls share and the natural innocence of youth.
And what an amazing experience to be able to share some time with them . . . a very cool mum indeed
wooowww! These two are actually STUNNING.
Beautiful captures – as always!
My name is is Christian and me and those girls have the same beutifull amber eyes
Hey there,
looking back through your work and the way you have captured their beautiful friendship and the EYES! MY GOODNESS THE EYES!
B E A U T I F U L shots, these two together are by far some of my favourite shots that you have taken on this site they go extremely well together regarding palettes of facial colours ect.
Very well done and the outdoor studio works well with it,
Stephen
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Hope you’re all spoilt rotten.

We had a very enjoyable day with Stewart Randall; what a great guy! He walked us through a session shooting gorgeous Emily, before helping us with our post processing skills. Here’s my own take on the day!

Emily is 14, the same age as my daughter. This has got to be one of my favourite ages to photograph- pure and simple beauty, with hopes and dreams in tact and a slightly knowing sidelong glance…. ahh, to be 14 again….

A superb set of images. I’ve only just started editing mine. You certainly have set the bar *very* high.
These are beautiful photos. You have really captured a beautiful moment in time. Thankyou Cathy Jarratt-Jones
Hells Bells Maz!!!! These are stunning . . . I mean absolutely stunning . . . truly! Wow! Words escape me, (and that doesn’t happen often).
Great set of images – particularly like the last one – and I’m glad you enjoyed the day.
Great images- only just finished blogging mine!! Love the first one!
I’ve spent the last few days in a gloriously indulgent bubble of self improvement (known as ‘continuing professional development’) at Annabel Williams’ Contemporary Photographic Training in the heavenly surroundings of the Lake District. Half a lifetime’s knowledge- or so it seems- is being shoehorned into four days of inspiration, motivation and plain hard facts. We’ve shot outside in sub zero temperatures, thawed out in warm classrooms, and eaten a lot. There is little better than sharing the passion for this art with like minded people, who soon become friends.
More soon- I should be sleeping, but as it’s pub quiz night in the ‘Eagle and Child’ , where I am trying to lay my head, my bedroom floor is – literally- reverberating with the not dulcet tones of Fred the Cumbrian quizmaster and I don’t think there’ll be sleep for me anytime soon.
So I’ll leave you with a couple of shots that I love.
