Claire contacted me a while ago for some shots to put on her website (currently in production) to help her promote her career as an opera singer and an actress. Although due to both our work commitments we had to wait a while before we could schedule the shoot, I had a feeling it was going to be well worth the wait; and boy, was it ever!. The whole shoot had the feeling of ‘rightness’ about it; right time, right place, right client, and , dare I say it, right photographer? Claire and I , though we’d never met, had corresponded by email and when we did meet it was a very happy union. Claire’s mum Judith came along to carry bags, hold the reflector, help with frock changing and generally offer support and the three of us had a wonderful day. Dyffryn Gardens very kindly allowed us the run of their stunning gardens, which even this late in the summer were packed with floriferous colour. We had some fun with different costumes and outfits, and Claire made my job a breeze with her warm, sensitive approach. A beautiful soul with oodles of talent, she is one to watch, I am sure. Good luck Claire, with everything you do!
(* PS, for my readers in the wedding ‘industry’, Claire is available to sing at weddings; pass the word around!)
